ABOUT THE POSITION.

As an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer, you will be integral to project delivery, providing expert advice and technical support throughout all phases. Your role includes conducting site investigations, analysing soil and rock properties, managing groundwater issues, and preparing detailed technical reports to guide safe and effective ground engineering solutions.
  
DUTIES.
  • Plan and execute detailed field investigations and sampling programs
  • Analyse soil, rock, and groundwater data to inform design decisions
  • Oversee in-situ testing, instrumentation, and monitoring activities
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Prepare clear, concise technical reports and recommendations
  • Uphold safety and quality standards in every aspect of your work
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical investigations and reporting within Australia
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (Civil/Geotechnical)
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Full, unrestricted driver’s licence
  • Familiarity with industry-standard field and laboratory testing methods
  • Experience supporting construction phase services is highly regarded
