Our client is a well-regarded Civil Contractor with a strong footprint across the east coast of Australia, specialising in high-quality water infrastructure projects. Known for their technical capabilities and strong project delivery ability, they have been able to secure multiple long term projects and have created a new Project Manager position in the business.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As a Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects from the ground up. Managing everything from planning and scheduling to final delivery. Your previous experience with similar projects will be key to keeping everything on track, on time, and on budget.
DUTIES.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to align with client requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, working closely with site crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure all work meets safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Track project progress, flag potential risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients and senior management.
- Solid experience managing civil infrastructure projects, ideally in the water sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of water infrastructure, including pipelines and utilities.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver successful outcomes.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field is highly regarded.
