ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of HVAC systems across a range of building services projects. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership from concept to completion. You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality design outcomes, managing project timelines, and mentoring junior team members within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

DUTIES.
  • Develop detailed HVAC system designs for building services projects
  • Perform heat load calculations, as well as pipe and duct sizing, and select appropriate equipment
  • Train and mentor junior engineers, supporting their technical development
  • Conduct design quality reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and meet deadlines
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven local experience in a building services environment
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • RPEQ certification is essential 
  • Strong communication and time management skills
