ABOUT THE POSITION.

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage a variety of challenging projects, providing technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion.
  

DUTIES.
  • Lead and manage structural design projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Prepare and review detailed engineering calculations and documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal design solutions
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments as required
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Extensive experience in structural engineering, within the Australian market
  • Proficiency in structural design software like Inducta, RAPT, RAM Concept, ETABs, Space Gass (or similar)
  • Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
