ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Local Council based in the Southern Highlands. Join an established team, reporting to the Coordinator Safety and Wellbeing. This role will see you working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across Council.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
A 6-month contract. You'll be instrumental in the development, implementation and delivery of the WHS management system and strategies. Your strong business partnering skills will play a key role in the strategy, innovation and continuous improvement of Council.
DUTIES.
- Hands on support implementing and delivering the WHS Management System and strategies
- eFacilitate the development and implementation of Safe Systems of Work documentation
- Assist with safety audits and investigations
- Monitor, measure and report on safety performance
- Assist in the development and implementation of WHS related programs
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
- Tertiary qualifications in WHS or relevant
- Experience in implementing safety systems in an operation/trade environment
- Understanding of NSW WHS Act & Heavy Vehicle National Law
- Class C Driver's License (own vehicle required - km reimbursement offered)
REMUNERATION.
$50 - $60 p/h + Superannuation
